Fapajal - Fabrica de Papel do Tojal S.A. has successfully started-up the new tissue line in Sao Juliao do Tojal, Portugal. The TM#3 is a MODULO PLUS line from Toscotec with an overall capacity of 70 tpd and operating speed of 1300 mpm.

Fapajal has a long tradition in the production of paper products and today produces virtually all the sanitary paper products required by the institutional market, as well as paper tablecloths, serving clients in Portugal and Spain. The current investment project constitutes a step in Fapajal's expansion program, adding a capacity of some 20.000 tpy virgin pulp paper, destined mostly for independent converters.

The Toscotec scope of supply comprised primarily a MODULO PLUS tissue machine with one press configuration and steel yankee dryer TT SYD 3200MM, accessories, shaft-puller and a slitter rewinder with stretch wrapping unit.

The excellent cooperation between Toscotec and Fapajal made this challenging project possible, achieving a start up in little more than 10 months from the order signature.
