Toscotec together with Pastificio Mennucci and ME.RO. are the three companies that form the Mennucci Group, one of the most important industrial groups in Lucca, known throughout the world for the high standards of the products they manufacture and create.

Pastificio Mennucci

The group dates back to 1882 when Giuseppe Mennucci founded Pastificio Mennucci. Since then four generations have followed in the management of the group.

Nowadays, Pastificio Mennucci has become a major industrial entity. Giuseppe Mennucci, descendant of the founder, is the chairman while his nephews Lorenzo and Maurizio manage the company that is  known worldwide for its traditional manufacturing process and the use of the best quality raw materials for the production of hard wheat pasta and egg noodles which are exported in the whole world.

Pastificio Mennucci expanded its production introducing products for children, organic and other types of pasta including gluten-free products for which it is among the largest producers in the world. [view gallery]

ME.RO.

ME.RO. has produced electronic equipment for the Corona treatment of plastic materials for 40 years. The chairman of the company is Lamberto Mennucci while his nephew, Armando Mennucci is the managing director.

The Corona treatment is the core business of ME.RO.: it is a special process aimed at increasing printability of plastic films, and today ME.RO. is a leading company in this field, supplying the largest plastic film producers in Italy, China and United States with production width up to 10 meters.

The company's production also includes equipment for Plasma treatment and sealing systems for the bottling industry. [view gallery]
