The TT SuperScreen is an horizontal screen with basket and rotor suitable to treat waste paper stock up to a working consistency of 3-3.5%. This unit has been designed in order to obtain a high level of cleaning and, thanks to its flexibility, it can be equipped with drilled or slotted baskets. The design of the TT SuperScreen reflects the long term experience of Toscotec in waste paper treatment and its ability to manufacture simple but effective equipment. The stock is tangentially fed to the unit and the front chamber avoids that heavy contaminants are forced between the basket and the rotor. The particular shape of the rotor enhances fibre screening and rejects separation. The accepted stock is collected in the peripheral chamber while the rejects reach the back of the body where are collected and eventually sent to further treatments. The TT SuperScreen can be used as coarse screening unit or, fitting a slotted basket, as fine screening stage in order to eliminate a wide range of light contaminants. Being completely manufactured in stainless steel, the TT SuperScreen is highly resistant to wear and guarantees a very long life span.
