TT Milltech-MGYH / Hood with cogeneration
The typical heating cuircuit of a Multigen Hood is a Duosystem Cascade type for operation with a gas turbine feeding system, and Parallel without a gas turbine feeding system. This design allows achieving the required performance while minimizing consumption. In the reverse Cascade circuit, the air exhausted from the wet end hood will be used as make-up air for the dry end hood.
The exhausted air from the dry end (and wet end for Parallel) hood will be used to pre-heat, the fresh make-up air for the wet end hood, through heat recovery.
Heating is through a line/corner burner. Two main fans provide the necessary amount of hot air to the two half-hoods which can be switched off alternatively to cogenerate. The exhaust fan removes the water evaporated from the wet end side.
