Toscotec to support Pianeta Terra Festival 2026

The 5^th edition of the event held in Lucca

Toscotec is proud to support Pianeta Terra Festival 2026, the major multidisciplinary cultural event held annually in Lucca, Italy, taking place on October 8-11. In its 5^th edition, the festival is titled “Forme di Intelligenza” (Forms of intelligence), focusing on comparing different expressions of intelligence: natural and artificial, individual and collective, cognitive, emotive, creative and strategic. In particular, there will also be an interesting focus on the forms of artificial intelligence in the context of sustainability.

Directed by renowned neurobiologist Stefano Mancuso, organized by Editori Laterza, and promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, the festival brings together scientists, philosophers, economists, artists, and journalists to explore how sustainability protects the place we live in.

Participants will take a deep dive into climate change, ecosystems, new economic models, urban growth, and more over four days of about 100 free public talks and workshops held across historic venues – such as the Church of San Francesco, Palazzo Ducale, and the Botanical Gardens. All locations will be found in the historic city center of the city, which will give attendees the additional opportunity to admire the beauty of the city firsthand.
