Following the start-up of a Toscotec’s TADVISION^® tissue machine, Hengan International Group has launched on the Chinese market premium quality structured tissue with excellent bulk, softness and absorbency properties. Installed at their Xiaogan mill, the new line is the first of two TAD machines that Hengan ordered from Toscotec to launch pioneering tissue products in the demanding Chinese market. 
Hengan’s second TAD machine will be installed at their headquarters production base in Fujian province, and it is scheduled for start-up in 2024. 

China’s first TAD machine
As the nation’s first TAD machine, Toscotec’s TADVISION^® sets a new benchmark for tissue quality in China. The Chinese manufacturer is producing actual structured tissue with the best bulk, softness and absorbency properties available in the marketplace, which are significantly higher than conventional and textured tissue. Hengan is leading the transformation of the Chinese tissue market towards top quality tissue. 

Toscotec and Hengan International Group have a long-standing cooperation that started with two MODULO-PLUS ES tissue lines that were successfully started up in 2017 at Hengan Changji mill in Xinjiang province.
